What a fantastic day we had at The Dartmoor Wedding Fayre held at Two Bridges, the place was buzzing with excited Brides to be. There was an amazing aray of suppliers on hand for Brides, and it was nice to meet with many of our old and new businesses who all pull together to offer our Bedford and Two Bridges Hotel brides a fantastic service and product.

A fashion show featured 20 models to include Miss Plymouth was put on by Paula from PB Gowns. Gowns and bridesmaids outfits by PB Gowns and The Ivory Tower were simply stunning, Mos Bros in true professional Mos Bros style kitted out the grooms and best men. Thanks you to all the models and for our Hotel Manager Jarred who stepped in at the last moment as additional male model, not sure he will be changing career for a while!

Music for the cat walk was provided by Luc the harpist and Mike Snook from Fun Machine Disco.

The weather picked up in the afternoon and brides were able to explore the grounds and enjoy our new pegoda and see variety of vehicles that could be booked to get them to the church on time.

Special mention to The registry Office and church for attending who sent a representative who supplied useful information on getting married in Devon. One of our Plymouth brides was so excited to know she could get married at Sheepstor Church and wedding reception at Two Bridges as she loves Dartmoor what could be better!

The prize draw was won by Chelsea D. who can enjoy a night away at either Two Bridges Hotel, or The Bedford in Tavistock together with a gourmet dinner for 2.

Finally thanks to all the Brides that attended the Fayre and enquired with us. Look forward to the next Wedding Fayre which will be on the 25th September 2011.
